Airplane Ride over Muncie...

November 2008, I purchased a Christmas gift for James. We just now got to use it. I bought a Discovery Flight for 30 mins at the Muncie Airport. It seemed like an out of the ordinary gift. I knew James had flown a plane before and enjoyed it so I thought this would make for a great gift. Then James' arm broke and he wasn't able to use it. We saw the gift certificate just the other day and decided to use it. To our suprise the instructor said he had a 6-seater plane and would let the whole family fly. He even took us by our church and then had James fly us to New Castle and make 2 laps around our house. The aerial photo is of our house. The instructor showed the boys what the parts of the airplane were and we "inspected" it. The instructor was great and went over and beyond what we paid for. It was AMAZING! We all had a ton of fun!

ROAD TRIP: Orlando (December)

ROAD TRIP: Whoo-Hoo! We have for sure planned a family vacation to Orlando, Florida right after Christmas! My Sister-in-law Cassandra and her family live there. We are excited to be able to see our Niece and possibly see our Niece who is 'in the oven'. Also Disney World is a fun thing to do while down there! I can't wait.

Pictures of Racing Themed Sept. Ladies Meeting...

September Ladies Meeting- Enjoy the Race...

We had a great Racing Themed Ladies Meeting last night at church. We had 16 ladies in attendance all eager to have fun and get in God's word. We praise the Lord for Heather Miller's testimony she shared with us. Evelyn had a really fun game involving a spoon relay with a greased egg! It was so much fun. We are looking forward to the 2nd Tuesday of October now for the next meeting.

September already...

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. Marc started school and loves it. He has a girlfriend now. He came home all excited about this girl named Savannah. She is a 1st grader too. James and the guys from church went on a Men's Retreat and had a lot of fun. This Tuesday night is our Ladies Meeting at church. I am SO excited but really want to have ladies attend. I know how it is scary to go to something for the first time but I am certain that each lady will have fun. We have AWESOME fun doorprizes and games.

We have put a camping tent out in the backyard. It is our intention to campout some night this week. We were hoping for Friday but realized there is a Youth Rally. With Marc in school it has to be on the weekend but with a husband who is a Pastor the weekends are the WORST! Someone asked me if I look forward to the weekends- I love our church and it is always exciting but very busy with behind the scenes things so I 'look forward' to Mondays, my husbands day off. We added it up and there is an evening church activity going on each day from now until next Friday Sept 11th night. So James is pretty good to faithfully take that day off unless someone has surgery or something on that day. We have been working on a fence in our backyard. I will take a picture when it is done. We've worked the last 4 Mondays put together and we are near done. It is hard work considering it is mostly just me and James doing the work. We rented an auger and are just figuring things out. Well that is an update on my life and what is going on.
