Church Nursery Bathroom Renovation...

This picture will be on the church website blog as well but we are just so excited to see the finished product that I wanted to post this pic on my blog too.

James, Jared (the visiting evangelist) and John put in SO MANY hours this week working from early in the morning til super late at night to remodel this bathroom. Everything in this bathroom looks SO much better. We are excited. We now have ladies that are excited to work nursery! Ha!

Andrew said...

Last night we had the evangelist and his wife over to play Dutch Blitz. While the boys were supposed to be in their beds sleeping, Matthew comes down the stairs to report that Drew had just been talking and out of his bed. Then James told Matthew to go upstairs. As Matthew was at the top of the stairs we heard a whisper from Andrew saying, "I told you if you didn't tell Daddy, I would give you money...Matthew!"

We went to Bounce About here in New Castle today. It was their Grand Opening and admission was 1/2 off. We had so much fun bouncing!

I have already updated the church blog, but I wanted to update a personal blog with my take on VBS. It was a CRAZY week. It is times like that though that the church members come together and pitch in to help with snacks/crowd control/games etc. It was a very exciting time.

I was able to lead 6 girls to the Lord during VBS (3 tuesday night; 3 thursday night) and then 2 of the moms to the Lord (1 friday night;1 sunday morning). I really praise the Lord for this opportunity! Our Andrew raised his hand thursday night in his boys class. James worked with him and Drew really does know he is a sinner and we believe he has that childlike faith that is required.

On a side note...I lost 5 lbs this week. I focused less on eating and was busy. Anyone who knows me knows I don't gain a pound easy and I don't lose a pound easy so to see 5lbs less come friday that was great news!

We are excited for what the Lord is continuing to do in our lives and we praise Him that He will use us.

Andrew's ER Visit...

Last night when we came home we told the boys to put on their "P-Jammers." Drew was done first and with his extra time decided to run "laps" around the inside of our house. On one lap, Drew fell down and split his forehead open. It was quickly obvious it would need stitches. James took him to the ER here in New Castle and instead of stitches they used a hot glue. Drew was extra brave! He came home about 11pm and was very happy to have new stickers and suckers to show for it!
