Revival with Evangelist Dwight Smith

Sunday morning in the service we had 90 people. We had 3 salvation decisions made and many other spiritual decisions. Sunday night he spoke on "What to do when your world comes crashing down." Many decisions were made at the alter including one teen girl for salvation. Last night, Monday, Dwight spoke on "A critical spirit" and many decisions were made. We had one girl baptized monday. This morning, Tuesday, we are looking forward to the service. We have one to baptize and the preaching is a teen emphasis. We are excited to see what God will do tonight!

Quilt...

All the ladies of the church secretly were putting together this beautiful quilt for James and I for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We LOVE it! It is the colors green, burgundy and gold. Thanks to all the ladies involved.
Praise the Lord! I got to lead an adult lady to the Lord in the morning service! We pray God uses her life to the fullest!

Marc before school today...

In line at school, we had some time to kill...

Matthew Weds. Night in the Car...

This is a picture Kristy took on her phone. We were just talking away and the boys were suprizingly quiet for a moment. We look back just a minute later and apparently Matthew had a purple marker!

Mother's Day

We had a good service at TBC for both Sunday services. We had 85 in attendance for the morning Mother's Day sermon. We had a contest to see which lady could bring the most visitors. The lady who won the $50 gift card brought 8 visitors to the service.

Also, We praise the Lord for one following the Lord in believers Baptism in the evening service. We are looking forward to our Revival services in 2 weeks.

Coconut in Fridge...

When Kristy babysits, it is ALWAYS exciting. Tuesday I had a Drs. appt and so she kindly watched the kids. She took this picture of what commonly happens at our house- Coconut the kitten in the FRIDGE! That poor cat! Good thing Kristy found her. Ha! (One disclaimer, Coconut does hop in every chance he gets!) Kristy is a great friend and babysitter. She was paid in Mexican food. What can I say, it was Cinco de Mayo!

Bulls...Brunettes....Blogs

So I posted this as the Bulls were making a comeback in game 7. How many overtimes does one series need? But now that the Bulls are out...so now I will root for the Orlando Magic for 2 reasons... My sister-in-law lives there in Orlando and second, Dwight Howard is a Christian.

I found out the one person that did vote for Brown hair for me. I talked to them and it is funny to finally know who it was. And no, I am not telling who; but I will say, It was from a dark-haired person herself.

I am in charge of keeping up the blog on http://www.templebaptistmuncie.org/ site so check it out sometime. That is where I will primarily write follow-ups on what goes on at church, salvation decisions, activities, etc.

Go Bulls!

Last Ladies Meeting...

Today we had the last ladies meeting at Temple Baptist. We break for the summer and will resume in the fall. I will enjoy going to to ladies meetings/conferences around Indiana this summer.

Today we had around 30 in attendance and we had good food and a really fun time. Kristy sang a really sentimental song. (But she didn't get me to cry!) I spoke on how our world is so fast and we stay so busy that we need to slow down to spend that needed time with God each day. The Lord really used it. I will add pictures of the meeting once Kristy can get them to me.

Garage Sale Mania!!

Well I don't have Swine Flu, but I have caught a quite serious disease! Garage Sale Mania! You know that slight social intimidation you have when you pass a garage sale and are just a little scared to walk up...well I fought that today and now am on my way to a Summer full 'o sales!
