Christmas Contata...

We had the Christmas Contata Sunday night. We had a good attendance with the theme, "Tell Me the Story of Jesus." A young lady came forward and I had the priviledge of leading her to the Lord. How wonderful! So in the Sunday services we saw two young ladies saved! Praise the Lord! That's what it's all about!

Praise...

I praise the Lord that in this mornings service I got to lead a 12 year old girl to the Lord! Her name is Makayla. Tonight is the Christmas Contata and we are excited to see what the Lord will do.

Marc Got Baptized!!!

Marc was saved last October in Jr. Church and we wanted the decision of Baptism to be heart felt. It was about 2 weeks ago that Marc went to daddy and said, "I need to get baptized!" so James had the priviledge of baptizing Marc last Sunday. He did really good! We are so thankful for how God is using Marc!

Matthew in Corner...

This is a picture of Matthew the other day. He was in the corner because he lied. I thought it would make for a good photo-op!

Savannah Trip

My mom and I went to Savannah Georgia for a week just to get away. It was a lovely trip. We met and got our picture with Paula Deens boys Bobby and Jamie. The Lady and Son's restaurant was really good and the hotel was beautiful. We went on a dinner cruise which was fun. It was a nice time.

The other day we did a lame attempt at Halloween Cookies. They tasted good though!

October Ladies Meeting Pictures...

October was a really FUN Ladies Meeting. We had the theme, "What's Your Heart's Condition?" and it was a medical themed meeting. We had "Heart Healthy" food (salad bar) and we had heart related door prizes... (Heart Healthy Soup, Heart Bracelet, Medical Dictionary Gift Set, Subway Gift Card, etc.) It was a lot of fun. Our Youth Pastor, Bro. Aaron imitated Pastor Johnson and did a great job. He even parted his hair to look like him. It was funny. Also 2 couples in the church did a funny song "Count Your Fat Grams" to the tune of Count Your Blessings. It was so much fun!

Airplane Ride over Muncie...

November 2008, I purchased a Christmas gift for James. We just now got to use it. I bought a Discovery Flight for 30 mins at the Muncie Airport. It seemed like an out of the ordinary gift. I knew James had flown a plane before and enjoyed it so I thought this would make for a great gift. Then James' arm broke and he wasn't able to use it. We saw the gift certificate just the other day and decided to use it. To our suprise the instructor said he had a 6-seater plane and would let the whole family fly. He even took us by our church and then had James fly us to New Castle and make 2 laps around our house. The aerial photo is of our house. The instructor showed the boys what the parts of the airplane were and we "inspected" it. The instructor was great and went over and beyond what we paid for. It was AMAZING! We all had a ton of fun!
